WHO ARE WE?
The Tavistock Braves are members of the
Provincial Junior Hockey League - Doherty Division
(formerly Midwestern Jr. C Hockey League)
of the Ontario Hockey Association.
Our division includes other teams from
Ayr, Burford, Delhi, New Hamburg, Norwich, Wellesley, and Woodstock.
HISTORY
The Tavistock Braves were founded in 1970 as a Jr. D. Hockey Club.
We became a Jr. C. team in 2013.
The Braves were league champions in
1983 (WJDHL), 1987 (SJDHL), 1988 (SJDHL), and 2008 (SOJHL).
In 1983, they were also OHA Cup Champions.
